An explosion of competitive tennis happened this year. As well as the usual men’s & ladies teams in summer and winter we also fielded EIGHT junior teams. See what they have all achieved below.
Men’s 1 Summer team – promoted for the 3rd year running. Surely it can’t continue?
Men’s 2 Summer team – a credible 2nd place and promotion beckons.
Ladies Summer team – healthy mid-table security.
Under-18 Boy’s Summer team – 3-way tie for last place!
Under-16 Boy’s “A” Summer team – a strong 2nd place.
Under-16 Boy’s “B” Summer team – mid-table comfort.
Under-12 Boy’s Summer team – only played 1 game!
Under-12 Girl’s “A” Summer team – only played 2 games but still mid-table.
Under-12 Girl’s “B” Summer team – sadly not a win in sight.
Under-10 Mixed Summer team – gaining experience.
Under-8 Mixed Summer team – also gaining experience.
We also put out a full complement of Winter teams:
Men’s 1 Winter Floodlit team – what – they won again and only played 3-matches!
Men’s 2 Winter Floodlit team – I think we had trouble getting a team out this winter!
Men’s 3 Winter Floodlit team – mid-table safety
Ladies Winter Floodlit team – a full 6-matches played – will do better next year!
